Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog

Office Holiday

Shadows Disappear From View

Hi i was working on a file and i ran into a problem with the shadows while passing by an object when most of the object is out of the view port its shadow disappear i am sending 2 pics one for before passing and one after passing for the records i am using static meshes and stationary light source with the dynamic shadow distance stationary light value of 10000 other parameters are as default.

Increase the bounds scale of that mesh and see if it helps.

Thanks Jacky, i was so frustrated with the despairing of shadows for some object. Extended negative and position bound from static mesh viewer to 1000, now all shadow is visible when my camera is far away from the actors.
