Linux: Main editor window tabs sometimes disappear

I’m using Ubuntu Linux 14.04 LTS.

If working with tabs instead of child windows in the editor sometimes, especially after a restart, all tabs but the first (main) one disappear, even though I know they are hidden somewhere because I can see and select them with control+tab. When I select these hidden tabs, nothing happens and the editor stays in the main tab. Opening new assets produces the same result, no new visible tab or change to the window, but they are hidden somewhere because they also appear in the control+tab menu.

I think this is easier to reproduce if enabling “restore open asset tabs on restart” and then restarting or killing the editor.

Hey -

I opened a blueprint editor window and material editor window and set both of them as tabs to the main editor viewport. After setting the checkbox you mentioned and restarting the editor both windows were still “tabed” together but were not on the same tab as the main window. What tabs did you have open that you noticed this bug with?

Cheers
