Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

what files can be imported to UE?

I would like to use UE to create some areal views of buildings i work on. I currently use Revit Structure and rhino3D to create structural plans. i would like to take this to the next level with UE and import these 3D models to create some realistic walk troughs/ aerial videos of what the building would look like. is there a tutorial that shows something similar to this? or a list of what kind of files can be imported to UE to get started?

Thanks

For static meshes(like buildings and stuff as you need) OBJ and FBX, animated characters(skeletal meshes) FBX. You can see the rest of the formats for other assets in the content browser > import window drop down list.
