Texture won't show up after importing

After I import a texture into UE4, the texture shows up in the content browser just fine. I then create a new material to add my texture to, which brings me to the Material Editor. I then created a texture sample node using my newly imported texture. Now for some reason, the texture sample node stays black while the details panel shows that my newly imported texture is there. The Preview window on the side still shows a blank ball as if I never added a texture. I even tried just adding my texture to any objects to see if it will show up anywhere, but it won’t. Is there something I’m missing to add a simple texture to a material?

Did you connect the texture sample to base color?

Did you click Save or apply?

Can you show us the setup of the material, as well as the texture viewer :slight_smile:
