Matinee repositioning my object?

so ive been trying to make a matinee sequence for a door that will open when a button is pressed. Ive made this animation at least 20 times now in unreal so i know how it works. However, with this door i have a middle part that is a cube, then two side frames and a top frame that are made of the pillar mesh. whenever i add a movement track to matinee, it grabs the top pillar and automatically rotates it 90 degrees and places it where one of the side pillars are. Im guessing it might be because i duplicated the object, but i dont understand why thats happening. I ended up just deleting the pillars and just animating the cube, the door is working im not asking about how to make the door. But why is matinee automatically repositioning my objects? ive never seen that before.
