Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

StaticMesh Replication Causes crash.

Static meshes with Replication & Physics Enabled on them often cause crash. Sometimes it only requires a few, but sometimes it requires many static meshes to produce the crash.

Hi Azarus,

Did you hit Send when this crash occurred? The information you provided isn't showing up in our system. I see a number of other crashes reported over the last week or so, but those don't appear to have anything to do with replication like this one.\

The call stack you provided is very similar to a bug with Seamless Travel. Are you setting Seamless Travel anywhere, or running with Use Single Process disabled?

Can you reproduce this crash in a new project, or only your current project? If you can get it to occur in a small test project, I can take a look if you upload it somewhere for me.

Yes i did hit send and restart when that crash occured. I am wondering why its not sending the crash reports sometimes. Its not the first time it happens i guess.

It happens sometimes. If you can reproduce the crash, please send it again and let me know. Otherwise, it would be helpful to see the logs from your project's \Saved\Logs folder.

Are you setting Seamless Travel in any of your Game Modes? Are you doing any traveling between levels? What are you doing specifically when you crash?

Can you reproduce this crash in a new project, or only your current project? If you can get it to occur in a small test project, I can take a look if you upload it somewhere for me.
