Computer specifications for Infiltrator and Showdown

I have a computer with the following specs: Intell(R) Core(TM) i7 - 2600 CPU @ 3.40 Ghz 3401, 4 Cores, 8 logical processors NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti 12 gb ram

I have attempted to create projects from Infiltrator and Showdown demos and have been unable to get past 95% before it maxes out my cpu and ram usage.

What size system would I have to have in order to comfortably work with those demos and related/similar projects?

Product Version: UE 4.9

Hey Graphics4Life,

Your specs are all pretty solid, aside from your GPU. A GTX 770 or 9 series card will handle these scenes and projects pretty well. I just recently upgraded my GTX 650 Ti to a GTX 960, and see a huge difference in performance. Your RAM could also be improved to 16 GB or even 32 if you are feeling crazy! :)

Cheers,

Andrew Hurley

Thanks Andrew for the reply. I'm looking at upgrading too but researching how far I will go with it. As far as graphic cards go I would imagine that that just because one works well for 4k gaming doesn't mean that it is optimum for heavy game developing. There are a lot of similar cards out there but what specs should I be looking for that will help most with this type of work? Within the 900 series, Titan X, etc? Two better than one, etc?
