Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

GetDayofWeek function for DateTime missing in blueprints?

It appears that the GetDayofWeek function is not available in blueprints for a DateTime variable. All the other functions seem to be there. Is this a bug in 4.9 or a known issue? The documentation seems to indicate it should be there. More specifically, I have created my own DateTime variable and filled it with a default value. I manipulate it by adding seconds to the date and that is working, but I see no way in blueprints to get the day of week value from the variable.

Hi NtyCar,

Unfortunately I do not believe that this is found within the DateTime function. If you have a look at the FDateTime function here:

https://docs.unrealengine.com/latest/INT/API/Runtime/Core/Misc/FDateTime/__ctor/3/index.html

It does not include day of the week. What documentation were you looking at that indicates it should be included, I'd like to be able to see which is accurate so we can update the documentation appropriately.

I believe this is the method in question which is not exposed to Blueprints.
