While searching for a blackboard key, adding a new key causes a crash

While the project I’m on at work is using a from-source & customized version of 4.9, I was able to reproduce this bug with the pre-built engine version 4.9.2 from the Epic Games Launcher.

Crash Reproduction Steps:

  1. Open any Blackboard asset (brand new or otherwise).

  2. Search for a key: enter anything into the “Search” field

  1. Click on the “New Key” button

  1. Do not write anything in the Key Type List’s “Search” field

  2. Choose any type. The engine should now crash.
