What are the Animation and Rigging Toolkit capabilities?
Hello folks, Some time ago I made a character and my intention was to use it Unity. It worked out, but since I tried to use it in UE4 I broke my forehead trying. The rig was made the way it has not to be. I got an advice to use the Animation and rigging tools for my for my next work. So now I got another character and it's time to rig it. Can someone tell me, can I rig my character (image below) in A&RT for Maya? Can I use the plugin for that kind of model? If yes, maybe some details that I have to keep in mind or pitfalls, everything is appreciated! Thanks in advance!
You should be able to! You'll just need to get creative with your skin weights :) for the two eyeballs, you could add leaf modules for those in the skeleton creation UI. For the mouth, I'd recommend going with blendshapes instead of trying to use any joints, since the spine gets lots of motion.
