Can't import .FBX SkeletalMesh to UE4 from 3DS Max

Whenever I try to import my Squid Character from 3DS Max to UE4 in an .Fbx format I keep getting the same error. “Failed to Import/…/…/…/…/ Failed to create asset” I managed to get it to import as an .Obj but my animation didn’t worrk with that. I want to import my character and bones in one file and my animation in another. I have two files exported as .FBX but I can’t get them working in UE4 I’ve heard this is a common problem but all the solutions I’ve seen don’t work for me.

Another thing which my help you help me is that when I import as an .Obj I get a thousand errors all based around a “Bind Pose”

Any Ideas?
