Is it possible to get Swarm Agent source code on GitHub?

The Swarm agent is scheduled to be rewritten, using Slate as the UI and the Message Bus as the underlying communication infrastructure. We are currently missing some critical components in those frameworks to make it work effectively, so we’ll have to get those in first before any C++ work on Swarm makes sense. I have no ETA for this project - hopefully sometime this Summer we’ll have a cross-platform Swarm agent.

I am wondering about the possibility of getting to Swarm agent/coordinator Source on git with the other code.

I am a polyglot Developer (17 languages) and I would be happy to help translate the C# code to C++ esp. if it will make the Linux agent available sooner.

My intent was to offer help, which i am happy to do, but i can understand that you want to do it in-house.

what i was suggesting was to convert it over to C++, with community help, then you guys could replace frameworks as you see fit.

thank you for your prompt answer.

Isn’t the C# source code already on GitHub under the dotNet tools section?

Yes, the 4.1 code is here: https://github.com/EpicGames/UnrealEngine/tree/4.1/Engine/Source/Programs/UnrealSwarm

I took a precursory look at github and must have missed it. looks like i have something(more) to do during summer break next month.
