Can't package (cook) project

I have a project. I’ve created it as c++ project originally, but used just blueprints in it. Keep project since 4.6 (approximately). And I could package it. But since 4.8 I can’t package my project.

Also I tried to migrate all my blueprints to a new project. Everything works correctly, but can’t package anyway.

I have another project since 4.8. Though it’s almost empty, but it could be packaged correctly. (I mean, I can package projects at all)

There was something like “UAT” log, but I don’t know, where I can find it

Okay, I found a new thing. I can’t open any UMG asset. But all UMG interfaces work correctly in my game. But For some reason I got editor crash every time I open any UMG-asset. What should I do to fix them?

And I can’t open even new UMG assets (that I just created). What the…?

Hi Defale -

If you are crashing in 4.10 could you post your Machine ID which appears in your Crash Reporter Window and make sure to submit the crash as well.

Thank You

I click “Send and Close” is it right?

Here is the crash information:

MachineId:

EpicAccountId:

Unknown exception - code 00000001

(first/second chance not available)

etc…

Hi Defale -

That was it exactly. I was able to track down the issue and it does look like a fix is in place and currently in testing now for this crash and does look to be a regression in 4.10 and is tied to UMG. Currently the fix is not slated to come out with a hot fix but with a major engine release. In the meantime, for this particular Project, I would not go higher than 4.9.2.

Thank You
