Incorrect toggling reroute bubble

I found a mini-bug in UE4.10:
When you create a reroute node and set a comment bubble for it, so bubble will be appears always. Pressing on down-right button (“Toggle comment bubble”) will disappear entirely appearing. Now bubble appears onlly when you focus on it with mouse cursor. But if I press on “Toggle comment bubble” again, I will not be able to change appearance mode back. only way is to delete text fully and create comment bubble again.

Hope it helps somehow =)

Hi ,

I’m not certain I understand what you’re describing. Could you please provide either a video of what you’re seeing and doing, or some screenshots for each step? Thank you.

Oh… It will be difficult, 'cos I can’t capture my mouse cursor in screenshots. I will show my mouse position with drawing a red triangle, ok? =D

  1. Create a reroute node and set a comment bubble for it.

bubble will be appears always whether or not mouse focused on it

  1. Pressing on button (“Toggle comment bubble”) will disable permanent appearing

  1. Now bubble appears onlly when you focus on it with mouse cursor

But if I press on “Toggle comment bubble” again, I will not be able to change appearance mode back (bubble will not appears always like earlier. Just on focus). only way is to delete text fully and create comment bubble again.

Hi ,

Thanks for images! I was able to reproduce this behavior in 4.10 and previous versions, so I created a bug report for issue (UE-23733). I’ll post back here if I see any change in its status. Thanks for report!

Still broken for me with 4.13, it’s said that UE-23733 would be fixed for 4.13

Workaround is to delete bubble comment and create a new one, and keep away from broken toggle button.

Hello,

I’ve reopened issue as I have confirmed that it is still occurring as of 4.13. Thank you for your report.

4.15.1 is still affected.

4.19.1
