Matinee Audio Delays on Android

Hi,

We are working on a mobile game with plenty of animated matinee cut-scenes and we have perfectly done lip-syncs. The lip-syncs are completely fine in editor but when we check the game on Android, we see that the animation is starting a little earlier than the audio and the lips become unsynchronized!

So has anyone faced this issue in matinee cut-scenes so far? The issue were existed on 4.9 and we still have it in 4.10!

These seems to be related to the audio issue on Android, especially if you have added the workaround and set the start time of your audio when syncing up your audio and your characters lip movements.

We will continue to work on that issue on the other post you created. Have you also edited the audio so it is in the correct sound class and is marked as a dialogue sound?

Thanks for the reply Andrew. We haven’t used the workaround you mentioned but based on your suggestion I checked the “treat as dialogue” check box in the matinee editor and still the same. Nothing changed. Also we have a specific sound class for the dialogues.

So we will be waiting for the next major release :slight_smile:
