Travel Seamless client crash, if map include Landscape with custom physical material

Crash then client seamless travel on new map, that include landscape. Crash happens in package game.

If you setup custom physical material into landscape (different from default physical material ! ) or in its layers, it will generate an error when client ( not server! ) seamless traveling on this map.

UE 4.10 Source. 16 Gb RAM, NVidia GeForce 650.

Can you reproduce this in a new project? If so, can you upload test project somewhere and get me a download link?

If not, please show me how you’re initiating travel and from which class. Images of your BP setup would be helpful. Are you using same GameMode for each map, or different GameModes between levels? Are each set to Use Seamless Travel? Are there any other steps in particular I need to follow to recreate this in a project? Thanks!

If you’re still experiencing this crash, please feel free to respond with information requested above, and we can continue investigating. There are some known issues with Seamless Travel that may be related, but I’ll need some more information to confirm. It may also be helpful to get your Machine ID from Crash Reporter dialogue. Yes, you mentioned that already.

  1. Can you reproduce this in a new project?
  2. Please upload a test project that displays this problem if so
  3. How are you initiating travel and from which class (images, please)
  4. Are you using same GameMode for each map?
  5. Do all involved GameModes have Use Seamless Travel enabled?

EDIT: I would also like to see Machine ID from Crash Reporter window after this crash occurs so we can look it up internally. crash cuts off your log, so I can’t see what’s going on by that.
