Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

How can people in a local network connect to my server as clients? (listen server)

I'd like to play a multiplayer session (LAN) with some friends who have the same version of the game.

But how do my friends connect to my server?

Let's say we all are connected over Hamachi/Tunngle etc. but how do they connect to me (I'm the server)?

1 answer: sort voted first

You need to provide them with your IP.

If you're on windows, just open a command prompt and type the following command:

ipconfig

then you will get a bunch of entries where you see some IPV4 address similar to this:

IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 169.254.80.80

Test all those addresses with a friend and then, take note of the one that did work.
