Is there a quick way to update a project to a newer UE4 version?

As in, rather than manually moving everything over? I have 4.2 projects and 4.8 projects, but Not enough room to install 4.10…

You can click “More Options” and choose “Convert in Place” - This will save you from making duplicate projects. You’d have to be opening project in newer engine though.

More importantly: Clean your hardrive!

Hi swiss_cheese9797,

You won’t be able to run a project in 4.10 without installing that engine version first, if that’s what you’re . You can, however, remove 4.2 and/or 4.8 and still retain your 4.2/4.8 projects, and reinstall that engine version if you need to later.

Once you have 4.10, as Alextronic mentions below, you can Convert in Place your projects. This is definitely NOT recommended, however. If there are any problems with project upon conversion, you won’t have a backup.
