Stand alone client bug

Hello, I have a weird bug it seems as I have set this up in many projects and it has worked fine. I start standalone on main menu… One hosts the game and the other joins. The client who has joined can’t move at all no input works apart from console button… He can see the server running around fine and when client is killed he animates as he should… In pie again the client is stuck but I alt tab to the server and back to the client I can now move around as normal??

I have a few questions for you that will help narrow down what issue it is that you are experiencing.

Quick questions:

  1. Can you reproduce this issue in a clean project?
  2. If so, could you provide a detailed list of steps to reproduce this issue on our end?
  3. Could you provide screen shots of any blueprints that may be involved with this issue?

In a clean project no I just press play with two clients and it is fine. I have used the couch Knights character BP and set it up so it works in third person and used a previous project I made (from third person template with fully working replication)… I don’t understand when I pie it doesn’t work but if I alt tab to change window then go back it works… And doesn’t work at all in standalone… I’m not at home atm I’ll be able to post screenshots of my blueprints later tonight

When you get a chance to post the screen shots, could you also post a detailed set of steps in order to replicate this issue on our end?

Hi mate, no idea what’s happened but it is working now… I didn’t change anything it just fixed itself :slight_smile:
