SideScroller character gets pushed into back/foreground when coliding

So, ive been experimenting (pretty messy) with the 3d sidescroller to make a Contra knockoff as a learning experience. But i just noticed, when my char collided with small debries chunks he gets pushed inot the back/foreground, the constraints i thought was inplace to make this not happen arent working. been looking at a “Clean” sidescroller project and it seems to be the same, can my soddy animation blueprint be messing with this? or is it somthing I am overseeing?
