How to make a uniform color background?

Hi,

I’m trying to make a uniform white background in my scene.

The problem is that the background is not uniform as you can see in the screenshot below

As you can see, the background is grey and not uniform, I just used a skyphere and set all the colors to white, but the colors are just varying between #CACACA to #D1D1D1.

Can you tell me how to fix this?

Thanks for your help.

I think that might be effect of postprocessing try to tune it up, if this not the case you can also create unlit material for background so lighting won’t effect it (it should be in material main settings, lighting mode)

Hi,

Thanks for your quick and excellent answer :). It was the post processing in the showflags that was making this effect. By unchecking some options, I succeeded in having a white uniform background thanks to you.

Hi there! I’m trying to achieve the same effect. What settings did you change to get a white flat background?

Cheers!

Hi, I’m also trying to do this and have not been able to figure it out. Can you please let us know what settings you changed? Thanks!

Hello! I know this is a little (3 years) late, but hopefully, someone finds this useful
I believe using an exponential height fog should do the trick.
I created a tutorial on this in the following link.

If you don’t want to watch the video, here’s how to do it in text form.
1 - Delete default skybox
2 - Drag in exponential height fog
3 - Set Fog Height Falloff to zero
4 - Turn off atmosphere sun light in light source
5 - Change fog instancing color to whatever cool color you want
