Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Can you record a video demonstration of the issues you are having? It is really difficult to guess what may be wrong without any visual aid considering you arent even having any errors.

So you are unable to play the game again. You have not been messing around with the UE4 files on Explorer or finder. I have been in a similar issue except it was a crash. It appares that the game can not find the uasset, or it is damaged. What is the uasset take a screen shot of it, see if you can open the uasset, show the error massage, what did this uasset use to contain when you used it and find out if there are any other uassets have been affected by this.

Hi Caimartin,

  • Does this occur in a clean, blank project with no additional content or is it limited to one project?

  • Do you have any circular references within your project?

  • What steps can I take to reproduce this on my end?

  • Do any variables get reset upon closing and re-opening the editor?

  • Are you using any c++ or blueprints only?

0 I tried transferring the blueprint over to a new project but the editor won't let me and I don't know what circular refs are.I don't know the steps..and they may have but I have no clue..blueprints only.. Its not just variables its inputs too

Can you send me a copy of your project? I'll be happy to take a look.
