Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

How can I make willow tree leaves

Hi! I'm new with Unreal, not very good at technical stuff like special effects and all. I would like to know the easiest way to make the long stem-like leaves of a willow tree? I will take advice of anything from how to create the stem/leaves to how to make them simply move softly with the wind! Thank you :)

First you need a 3d modeling program like maya, 3ds max, blender, export in fbx format and setup wind in unreal. There are many tutorials on you tube that show how to setup wind on an object. Or you can look into speed tree. They have a ue4 plugin that lets you edit the properties of the tree like leaf density number of leaves branches and its wind movement. Only $20 a month subscription with no obligation to continue subscription when you are done making assets.
