UE4Editor-Cmd.exe has crashed on Windows 8.1 - UE4.0.2

Hi,

It’s my first time with UE4, so I’ve downloaded an older version (4.0.2) on the Epic Games Launcher. Like another questions on the forum, after download, I’ve just tried to launch it. A few seconds later, I got the follow crash report:

And nothing more happened.

Hello Andreus,

Since 4.0.2, many changes have been made to the engine and the editor has become much more stable as a result. Could you try grabbing a newer version such as 4.10 instead? It is possible that these problems that you’re having are already fixed in a newer version.
