Autodesk character creator not compatible?

Hi all,

I created a character with Autodesk’s Character Creator, and I can’t get it working.
Seems that it is not compatible with UE4 default animations, but i heard it is supposed to be.
When I replace the Sk_Manequin in the Third person template with that character in the Character BP, and set the anim BP, while I’m moving (or standing), my character’s bodyparts are everywhere, just not where they should be. For example the head is on the ground, the arms are in strange positions, their scale is different, and their position as well.
So please tell me what am i doing wrong, i did retargetting as well, or if all else fails tell me some modelling software that is totally compatible with UE4 rigging. Or an animating software that is easy to use, but it would be easier to use UE4 default anims. And do I need to create the FPS arms or is it better to download one?
Please put me on the right track.

Here is a picture:

btw. I’m a programmer, not an artist.

Thanks in advice

It only works if you have the same number of joint points. The same place. It is often easier to transfer the skeleton with Autodesk into the new character. If you use the online creator, this is the Autodesk FBX and the bip script at. This allows you to simply change the bone position and also create animations. Drag and drop the Character fbx in autodesk and then the script file by drag and drop on it.
