Where do I set the "T0 As Ref Pose" option?

Hi Everyone!

I’m Trying to import a Skeletal mesh into UE4, and I’m being thrown a warning,

“please set the “Use T0 As Bind Pose” option”.

Where would I find this option? What is it referencing? Can someone translate this?

Thanks guys!

Here you go! After you hit Import and choose your FBX file, click Advanced.

Thanks WillPlay! I’m not sure how I missed this option, is there a special Import you used to get this, usually I have been right clicking and selecting “Import”. Is there a certain workflow for FBX import that I should be using?

on import just click on the little triangle by the word “Advanced” this will then expand the advanded options

Sorry about the delay! Nothing special- I either: right click and choose import or I hit the Import button on the Content Browser. After you choose the FBX file, click the advanced arrow on the prompt and it should give you more options.

I’m not sure if there’s a special workflow you should be using. If you’re doing what I’m doing and exporting from Blender, make sure to grab the updated FBX exporter from GitHub and the the FBX converter from Autodesk (free). It makes sure it’s all up to snuff with proper file formats and versions.

Totally just blanked and didn’t notice this in 4.0. It popped right up in 4.1 for me, thanks for the help!

Works like a charm, thank you so much. Looking forward to buy more animations from you!
