4.10 Memory leak

Terrible memory leak (10mb+ per second) when open one specific blueprint editor.

I package a simple poject.

If you open Attribute blueprint, you can see the memory leak.

I was able to reproduce this on my end and have entered a bug report, UE-24035, to be assessed by the development staff.

If I work in unreal engine 4.10, after a few hours unreal editor is taking up all my memory, up to 12-14gb. Is this related? I don’t recall opening an attribute editor, but I am in the blueprint editor constantly.

Are you opening an Actor Component blueprint? This specific memory leak seems localized to Actor Components, the Attribute blueprint is specific to StrongSoul’s example.

It’s not a few hours.
If you open the Attribute blueprint, memory can up to 10gb after a few minute, then the editor can not work.

And other actor component blueprint not reproduce this bug.

I have managed to replicate this using the ThirdPersonExample. After leaving the character blueprint open for 3 hours the Unreal Engine process was using about 29GB’s of ram.

Note that this is fixed in 4.11. Tested and resolved the above bug report.
