Camera importing inconsistently

In my unreal project I have several shots, and am trying to render out of matinee. I have a camera I’ve exported from Maya 2014 as an FBX.
In one shot/level, when I import said camera, it comes in perfectly first time without me having to change anything. Correct translations, rotations, all of it.
Importing that very same FBX, with no changes whatsoever, into a different shot/level within the same project, causes it to come in with a 90 degree rotation from worldzero, as if it was exported with the incorrect up-axis.
Now I’m just importing these by going to file → import in matinee, it’s not like I have any import options to choose, and as far as I’m aware I can’t change up-axis for an unreal level, so I can’t for the life of me figure out what’s happening here. For now all I can do is attach the camera to an object at worldzero and rotate it to counter this bug.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there at least an easier way to fix this?
