    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Sharing Marketplace Assets on different accounts?

Hello, Before I realized that you cant buy packages for other people like gifts, I asked for a few packages for Christmas and one was recently purchased. The only issue is however, that this package was purchased on a different account to my own so I would not get emails about it and know before hand. What is the rules on sharing packages between accounts if the buyers account is soly there to provide assets for my account/project?

I would see no reason why that would be an issue aslong as the products are being used for one "project" or account but I thought I would check. They were going to see about a refund but it would be a shame to do that if this can be resolved better and quicker. Thank you!

I do not believe this would be an issue. I know there are several teams using material from the marketplace. They clearly have to pass the assets around, between one-another, in order to work. Assuming it is used on a single project, I don't expect there's a problem. However, someone from Epic might like to confirm this for certain.

The EULA addresses this topic. Generally, you are not permitted to share Marketplace assets. An exception to this is (Content includes Marketplace content):

You also may Distribute Content to an Engine Licensee who is your employee or your contractor regardless of whether they have rights under their license to the same Content, but only to permit that Engine Licensee to utilize that Content in good faith to develop a Product on your behalf for Distribution by you under the License, and not for the purpose of Content pooling or any other Distribution or sublicensing of Content that is not permitted under this Agreement. Recipients of such a Distribution have a limited license to use, reproduce, display, perform, and modify that Content to develop your Product as outlined above, and for no other purpose.

So the people that work for you on a project can share assets for that project.
