Draw Text position doesn't work

Hey Team,

Draw Text called from a UMG widget’s OnPaint method ignores the provided position. Text always draws at 0,0.

I can reproduce this and I’m not sure why this happens. BUT, why would you do this in the first place? When you use UMG, just place a Text Widget!

I was able to reproduce this issue on our end. I have written up a report ( UE-24182) and I have submitted it to the developers for further consideration. I will provide updates with any pertinent information as it becomes available. Thank you for your time and information.

Any updates about this bug?

This bug has been fixed for an upcoming major release. I cannot give you a set version as sometimes other fixes can break things, so It isn’t safe to assume it will be integrated immediately in the version it is marked for. I can say we have fixed it, and we plan on integrating it into an upcoming full release.

As I mentioned prior, this bug has been verified as fixed and will be integrated into a major upcoming full release. It has been marked for 4.12 which won’t be out for some time so we ask you remain patient until the fix has been integrated.
