DitherTemporalAA not working on iPad Air 2

We have a fade from opaque-to-transparent material effect when the camera approaches a mesh that works beautifully on PC mobile preview, but doesn’t work when we play it on iPad Air 2 (the material just displays as an opaque checkerboard).

Does anyone know if the DitherTemporalAA material node is supported on mobile devices for 4.9, or is this possibly a bug?

DitherTemporalAA will not work as intended on mobile devices. Mobile Devices use a modified version of Temporal AA and the DitherTemporalAA uses a call to the non modified version of the Temporal AA in a Custom HLSL code node.
