AdvancedSkeleton with UE4.10

So I’ve got something of a unique issue. I’m using AdvancedSkeleton in Maya 2015 to animate a character. I’m able to import the skeleton and character mesh into UE4, but I’m not able to import animations in.

I’ve baked the animations to the bones, I also export it with bake animation turned on. Whenever I import it, it gets stuck at 75%, freezes up, then just crashes with this error:

I’ve heard that this error might be caused by a bug? That bug involves unused skeleton nodes (bones at the ends of fingers that aren’t influencing anything, etc.). I’ve deleted those bones on both files I’m trying to import.
