If I cancel my download of ue4, can I resume it?

my laptop battery about to die, so I must shut down it, but currently Im still downloading ue4.10.0.0, when I pause it, and exit launcher, it says “Your Installation will be canceled”
is that mean if I open the launcher again and want to resume that 4.10.0 I must restart from 0% again?

because I remember, someday ago, first time when I download 4.10.0(its about 10% downloaded), and I cancel then exit the launcher, but in my local disk C:…epicgames/4.10, the file still there, is that mean I can resume it?
I accidentally remove it from launcher when trying download it for second time, and forget to test it first :frowning:

and now the new download is about half done, and my laptop is gonna die…

so, my question is, can I resume that download even if I exit launcher and shut down my laptop?

Hello!

EyeDee10Tee is correct. You can pause the download. When you reopen your launcher it should re-sync and allow you to continue the download where you left off.

Please tell properly, if i close/shut down my pc then can I resume my download?

I encountered a similar issue.

First check your ‘Vault’. If it is there, select ‘Install’ and point it to where you last had it installing to.

It started again where it left off.

before shutting down, just remove the epic game launcher from the task manager and you should be able to continue your download where you left off when you start your PC again.
