Nexus 7 Black Screen

I am attempting to launch on a Nexus 7. Blueprint FPS project, no starter content, mobile HDR off, project set to work with android. Nexus 7 shows up in the launch list. I’ve tried multiple ATC and plain android launch settings. Result is always the same. The device shows the back, home and recent app buttons, in landscape with a black screen behind it. The only errors I can find in the log are:

The adb devices shows:
List of devices attached
058487ff device

Where it used to show unauthorized, so I know the device is authorized.

Any clues what I should try next? I’ve browsed through all the questions here, but don’t see any real results on how to get passed this.

The errors you listed are analytics events. Would you mind posting your deployment logs from the editor and your game logs from the device? Thanks.

Will do. Just FYI, it worked fine on Kindle Fire HDX this morning, so my assumption is that the Nexus 7 is just not supported yet. I’ll get those logs on here though.

Here is the app log. Will see about getting the log of the device next.

The .crashlog folder on the device is empty. In the app directory, I see the pak file and several ini files, but no logs. Where exactly is the log you are looking for off the device?

You’ll need to grab the device logs either using adb’s logcat command, or using the SDK’s Debug Monitor.

Also, the zip file is not opening on my machine. I get a warning that it’s invalid.

With a new version of the Engine comes new fixes and it is possible that this issue has changed or may no longer occur.
