How do I the packaged .exe in the root folder to run?

Hi,

I have packaged a game using the shipping method and now have a WindowsnoEditor folder. In this folder there is an .exe that when I click says it fails to open the descriptor file. I go into the binaries folder, take out the “shipping” from the .exe name and then run that - the game works fine here.

My question is how do I get a single .exe of the game that I can run and use for a custom setup/installer app? I try open the .exe in the root folder but I either get a descriptor error or “createprocess 2” error.

Can anyone help or tell me if I’m thinking about this the wrong way? I’m not experienced in this part of ue4.
