Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Is it possible to make a vehicle drive-able without a Skeletal Mesh?

I bought the Military Pack: Part 1 and it came with a humvee but the humvee is not drive-able. I'm wanting to make it drive-able but it is a Mesh not a skeletal Mesh could I still make it drive-able?

Anyone know?

Thanks!

Hi!

In last versions of UE4 you not need add skeleton into yours car model. Just parent wheels meshes to body mesh. Before parenting, reset transformation of wheel meshes. In the Import FBX dialog enable parameter Import as Skeletal.

It worked like that all along actually. The OP just needs to export the mesh > split the wheels > set their pivot points to their center > reset transformation(reset xform in Max) > and then parent(link) the wheels to the body of the vehicle.
