Can't set follow HMD orientation in defaults if I edit the graph

I wanted to make a custom controller for a VR project.
The first time I double clicked on the controller, I saw a list of class defaults including a check box for “follow HMD orientation.”

I added some mouse functions to the graph then I clicked the Class Defaults icon and…no option to check follow HMD orientation.

I expect the Class Defaults tab to let me edit the same defaults.
I am using Unreal 4.10.1

I can do this manually in blueprint but it’d be nice to get a full defaults interface.
