Since it was determined in the other post that your issue is actually different than those experienced by others in the other post, we have decided to re-open this one in order to be able to focus on your issue exclusively. I apologize for the inconvenience.

In order to help us troubleshoot this issue, please provide us with the installer log, which can be generated following these steps:

MSI (Windows only) installation issues

  • Place the msi on the root of C drive
  • WindowsKey+R and enter:
  • msiexec /i C:\UnrealEngineInstaller.msi /L*V C:\UnrealEngineInstallerLog.txt
  • Replacing “UnrealEngineInstaller.msi” with the actual msi filename
