Hi P-Graner -

When the Editor crashes are you getting a Crash Reporter or does it close and only show a windows event window (windows error window)? If you are getting the crash reporter, please make sure to submit the crash and post your Machine ID. If you are not getting the crash reporter can you take a moment and submit your Windows Event Logs, information about how to obtain them can be found here:

It just closes, but I’m not able to upload the log file here I don’t know why

You might need to place the Event View Log File in a ZIP file and then upload the zip file here.

Thank You

I uploaded it

Hi P-Graner -

It looks like your Windows Event Viewer shows that the file igdusc64.dll is causing the engine to close. Fortunately this is a known issue with a fairly easy fix. You will need to update the Intel Integrated Graphics Card to the most recent version. (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/) If you are using a Laptop, many manufacturers have locked driver versions for this Integrated Card to a version which causes issues with the editor. You can either downgrade the driver and then use the Intel Website to upgrade to the newest version or contact your laptop manufacturer.

If you have a non-integrated graphics card (Nvidia or AMD), then your computer needs to be set up such that the Editor (UE4Editor.exe) always uses the Non-Integrated Graphics card (usually Switchable Graphics Settings (AMD) or Nvidia Optimus).

Thank You

THANKS!!!

There is no update availabe, I have waited a long time, there still no update. I really want to use materials and other such things that also keeps crashing UE4. There isn’t anything else that I could do to fix it?
