Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Lit landscape looks fuzzy?

So I've downloaded an environment from the marketplace and in lit mode, it seems like the details are either fuzzy or blurred out completely. As an example, here's the scene in both lit and unlit mode:

It seems like in unlit mode, the textures and alpha channels are much crisper. Why would that be? I have my Engine Scalability up to Epic across the board, as well as "Monitor Engine Performance" turned off. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello jmoVFX,

In unlit mode you are void of post processing, tone mapping, and other such features that are present in lit mode. Therefore AO is much crisper and not overridden by other lighting calculations. This is to be expected.
