Setting “Render custom depth” to true for hierarchical instanced mesh components (HISM) doesn’t have the intended effect - the meshes are not visible from the custom depth buffer.
I’ve confirmed the issue is limited to HISM only. Normal instanced meshes work perfectly with Custom render depth.
Hoping this is fixable, HISM is just too good to let go but at the same time I’m using custom depth for so many important gameplay features (I previously used normal instancing) this puts me in somewhat of a bind!
