Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Office Holiday

Epic Games' offices will be on holiday from June 22nd to July 7th. During this period support will be limited. Our offices will reopen on Monday, July 8th.

The procedure entry point _wtoi could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files (x86)\Epic Games\4.10\Engine\Binaries\Win64\UE4Editor-AppFramework.dll.

After downloading a ton of missing api-ms extension .dll files online, I've ran into a new error which is stated in the title of the thread.

Don't understand why I'm having so much trouble with my UE4 installation, just bad luck I suppose!

Can anyone help out? :S

i had this problem exactly like u and i fixed it. if anyone have this problem just do this steb below:

first install this update (KB2919355) it's so important or update your windows, then download latest Runtimes and .Netframeworks(specially 4.5 and 4.6) and install them. and also Install a Visual Studio 2015 Enterprise version. after that open the launcher one more time and click on verify in drop down menu if any file is damaged and wait until it done. then run the engine. it's should work.

it's worked to me and i ran Engine from launcher. so easy.

Let me know if that helps.

have fun
