When I click the input box, the cursor(select area?) moves up. I can’t edit anything. I can’t search files in content browser. How to fix it? I use unreal engine 4.10.1 on Mac OS 10.11.3 Beta (15D9c). Does this appears on windows too?
I reinstall Unreal Engine today. And the problem solved!

This is the exact same problem I am having, too. I even installed three seperate engines to see if that would change anything.

While reinstalling the engine worked for wakakuki (but not for you), the second comment leads me to believe this may be linked to a peripheral connected to your machine. Try disconnecting all but your keyboard and mouse and restart your system. Also make sure your drivers for your mouse and keyboard are up to date, especially if you are using a third party gaming mouse and/or keyboard.

I have deducted the problem.
After careful analysis, looking through my system preferences, reinstalling software, and coming up with the same issues, I found out the issue was a Bluetooth based Application.
For Mac Users, it should be noted to be wary of any third party apps that use bluetooth, if this exact problem occurs.
In my case, a third party app called ControllerMate was the issue. The application is known for saving control binds for wireless controllers that You set up, and the settings stay enabled in the background when the app is shut off. In my case, I uninstalled the application using its Uninstallation program, and since then, I have had no problems with Unreal.

I’m currently using 4.16.2 and am having this exact problem and cannot figure out how to fix it. I have absolutely no plugins, no Bluetooth controllers or wireless mice or anything. Software was working fine, I was in the middle of making a game, then I suddenly couldn’t type when I right clicked in the node area, and cannot select anything, it just shoots up to the top. I have reinstalled Unreal twice and even tried installing an old version 5.15.3 to no avail.
