Assertion failed: ReferenceController->SharedReferenceCount > 0

Hi Team,

Unreal Editor is crashing regularly when I attempt (often extremely basic) copy-pasting of blueprint graph nodes within UMG blueprints. This same error was extremely severe while our project was in 4.9 but appeared to be fixed on the release of 4.10. The issue has slowly come back however and is now causing me multiple editor crashes per day. The crash is hard, meaning the editor does not have a change to launch it’s crash log sender.

Here is the log file from my most recent crash. link text Notably:

Hello MugenCity,

I have a few questions for you that will help narrow down what issue it is that you are experiencing.

Quick questions:

  1. Can you reproduce this issue in a clean project?
  2. If so, could you provide a detailed set of steps to reproduce this issue on our end?
  3. Could you provide screen shots of any blueprints/ widgets that may be involved with this issue?

Sadly no not really. The crashes seem fairly random. I can cause a crash attempting a copy-paste then attempt the same actions and either have it succeed or crash again after restarting. I don’t really know how I can debug this?

Would it be possible for you to provide the project that is exhibiting this issue with a set of steps needed to reproduce the issue within your project?
