link textI received an apk from our client. Installation seems o.k. but, when app is started it crashes in libUE4.so. I asked the client and they say the problem could be in the phone because some folders are missing.

could you please tell what could be the problem and how I can solve it. I do not have the source.

I see that the error seems to relate back to: signal 11 (SIGSEGV), code 1 (SEGV_MAPERR), fault addr 0x0

  • Which OpenGL are you using?
  • Have you updated your Android device to the newest version?
  • What does your Android SDK settings look like within the editor?
  • Does this happen with any project launched onto these devices?

I see that you’re on Android version 5.0.2 and 5.1.1. Are these the newest updates that you have available on your devices? I also want to verify that you’re on the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge?

  • Could you please ask your client which version of the engine this game was built on?
  • Could you also please see whether or not this application will launch on any other device?
  • Are you trying to launch other Unreal Engine 4 projects on these devices, or are you talking about applications in general when referring to the last answered question above?
