Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

How to get access to device media storage?

Hi guys, I'd like to know if there's currently a way of getting access to a mobile's media storage? more specifically getting the full paths of files in the device that can be filtered by extension(.ogg, .mp3, .jpg, .png, etc..)? I've found this class in the documentation but can't figure out how could I get the path to files filtered by extension https://docs.unrealengine.com/latest/INT/API/Runtime/Core/Misc/FPaths/index.html

Hm. Maybe this help?

Finds all the files within the given directory, with optional file extension filter.

Looks like something :) Any Idea how could I get the root media storage directory so I can pass it to that function? Could I Just pass in Android for example, "/sdcard/" to find the files on the sdcard? or is there a better way?
