It doesn’t seem to matter how hard I try, the launcher continues to download. I’ve so far done a download of the installation files about 7 times. It looks to be all there and then it will start to download yet again.
Is there any other way to do a download and install the relevant components required than using the UE launcher?
I’m pretty sure you just have to use the launcher. go to the library page, and then hit install engine, and pick your engine version. I believe the current version is 4.10. Otherwise, you can get the source code from Github, but i don’t know how to get that all working that way myself.

I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble. Just to verify: you have the launcher installed, but you are having trouble downloading and installing the Unreal Engine editor? What error message (if any) are you getting. Can you provide a screenshot?
