Hierarchical Instanced Static Mesh Component CustomDepth Pass Bug

This problem was recently posted about, however I wanted to create a new post to upgrade it to a bug report. I’ve confirmed that CustomDepth pass rendering does not work with the Hierarchical Instanced Static Mesh Component in both 4.10 and 4.11.

@wilberolive - thanks a lot for posting this as a bug report. I can’t believe I forgot to mark my report as a bug report, no wonder it was lost. Thanks again for writing this report!

Has there been any progress on this, or is there a known workaround we can implement ourselves?

This is fixed in 4.11 as far as I can tell. All my HISM components are now showing up nicely in custom depth related post process filters.
