4.10.1 PackagingResults:Error: Error Unknown Cook Failure

Packaging failed after we upgraded to 4.10.1 but the cause could also be something else that changed since the upgrade.

The log shows Failure - 2 error(s), 4337 warning(s) but I only see one error which is Ensure condition failed: PointerToUberGraphFrame->RawPointer [File:D:\BuildFarm\buildmachine_++depot+UE4-Releases+4.10\Engine\Source\Runtime\Engine\Private\BlueprintGeneratedClass.cpp] [Line: 538] with more details in the log.

After looking over your , I see that you have 2 errors and a lot of warnings. Please correct the errors and begin working on correcting as many warnings as you possibly can. I would suggest deleting any Saved and Intermediate files from your project to begin with. I would then look through each of the errors and warnings to see what you can change within the blueprints or code to ensure the editor can find those files and that they’re able to be referenced properly.

In reference to the error, I would specifically look at the following: PointerToUberGraphFrame->RawPointer which is located in: BlueprintGeneratedClass.cpp. I’d read through the rest of the error too and make sure no other .cpp files need to be edited.

Thanks for the reply. I already tried deleting the Saved and Intermediate directories. I looked at the error code line and it seems to be at ensure(PointerToUberGraphFrame->RawPointer); (https://github.com/EpicGames/UnrealEngine/blob/4.10/Engine/Source/Runtime/Engine/Private/BlueprintGeneratedClass.cpp, line 538). So I guess the UberGraphFrame pointer for some blueprint is invalid but what is a UberGraphFrame and what could cause this issue?

The cause was a method in a constructor which calls a blueprint event. I moved it to BeginPlay and that solved the error. This didn’t cause an error before the upgrade to 4.10.1. A more specific error or an error/warning at compile time would be nice.
