Crash on FBX import Access violation - code c0000005

Every time I import an FBX UE4 crashes. The FBX files were exported from Maya 2016 as FBX 2014/15 format

I can not find the cause of the crashing. I have tried importing the same objects into Unity 5 as a test but none of them caused any issues there.

Hello,

This is currently a known issue, UE-23769, and has been fixed internally. The fix will be released in a later version of the engine.

For now, if you are using the source build of the engine, you can merge the fix linked below into your engine, as this has fixed the same crash for multiple users.
